"Being Connected"
I have learned that being connected is important because communication is the key to... everything. The internet keeps us connected to family members during emergencies and disasters, which is very important. I didn't realize this until I wrote it just now. I guess you can say that, that is what I learned.

12 things students shouldn't post on social media sites
Mashable.com put an article up listing the 12 things students should NOT do on social media sites. This is what made the list:
1. Post Illegal Activities
2. Bulling
3. Trash Your Teachers
4. Post Objectionable Content From School Computers or Networks
5. Post Confidential Information
6. Overly Specific Location Check-Ins
7. Lie/Cheat/Plagiarize
8. Threaten Violence
9. Ignore School-Specific Policies
10. Unprofessional Public Profiles
11. Never Rely on Privacy Settings 100%
12. Post Emotionally
All in all, I must say that I agree with everything that is on this list. However, I think some of these are just common sense and the teenagers, or anyone really, who post stupid stuff like this just are not using their brain. For example, number 6. "Overly Specific Location Check-Ins" if you know that you have some weird Facebook stalker or some random person that keeps tewwt watching you, don't keep posting where you are. That's just not smart and you are clearly not thinking about your saftey. Another one is number 5. Only stupid people would post something confidential on Facebook, Twitter or any social networking site. If you go on Facebook and you post your social security number you should get the award for biggest dumbass of the century.
Thaose are my opinions. What are yours?
