Nothing But The Truth

I think it can be a very interesting topic when talking about Bok's idea that we are living in a world of nothing but lies. Sure part of that statement is true people in this world do lie, everyone tells lies. But to believe we live in a world that is NOTHING but lies sounds ridiculous to me. If we did live in a world that was nothing but lies, everyone would be negative all the time, paranoid and looking over their shoulder and that is not the case. Of course sometimes we do not know what to believe or think, but then that is where hope comes in. At some point or another everyone has hope for something and that is what keeps us motivated and living life; without paranoia.
